2025 and 2026 have been very busy years for us, so busy that I've had little time to play with my Boxster.  We bought a new house in 2025 so we spent our days house hunting, making the purchase, preparing our previous house for sale, making our desired upgrades to the new place, actually moving all our stuff and getting it all arranged and decorated so that our new house feels like home.  Over a year has passed and we're still chipping away at our "to do" list.  We're not done yet but we're getting closer all the time...

One upgrade that I did make was to replace the tires. It's hard for me to believe, but the Boxster's tires that I installed when I first bought the car were nine years already.  It seemed like a bad idea to drive on outdated tires so I replaced them with Sumitomo HTR Z5 High Performance summer tires. It may be my imagination, but tires feel like they are both smoother riding and grippier than those they replaced.
